1 DM 1-3 cover Chispo, Yuse and Leaf are working at Mongoose's. Leaf is hanging vines all around the place, when 'Goose comes with great news. Snake and Juju bought an abandoned house and are fixing it as a shelter for homeless. But there is trouble in the cellar, they think of rats. Chispo, master of brown magic, has a deep empathy with the animal kingdom, and is sent as embassador. Once in the cellar, he quickly notices nothing dares living there, but something his hidden behind a wall. He comes back with Leaf and Yuse. It is a body. A boy. He was sold to evil doers, and was buried there. Leaf lets a charm to ease the suffering soul, and they begin investigating. The house was owned by a Black Brothers member, and the teens can track records until an estate in Long Island.
They sneak in there, but there are cameras, dogs, and guards. Chispo befriends the dogs, and Yuse deals with the guards. Way is free.They have a short talk with the fat lady who was the boy's stepmother. She is to have a costume ball tonight, and is pissed by the three teens asking undue questions about Jeffrey.
In the cellar, the charm is beginning to impact, and rats are back. Thus Snake thinks it is inefficient, and trash it. The dead boy can break out, and walks to the party. Eventually, he can meet his stepmother, and jumps to her throat to bite her to death.
