Kohl tells Kam that Mark was trashed by the Moth Man. Maire tells them he has been through worse, "Blast. Why does it always happen to him? If I could only take the big goof's place, I would in an instant. Oh, Mark." The doc wonders how Sam and the government could get involved in this. He can understand venting nerve gas into the subways during rush hour to test its effects on the populace or infecting minorities with TBóóthat is all controlled. The man in black tells Samuel Stringfellow that he is in control, not Sam, not Velvet Black. The man in black was to get the Moth Man alien to Sam to study. Sam has done his part: sent his nephew away to be conditioned and sent Swift to be dissected. At Dragon Fire HQ, Lee tells Neji these screens are bright and that Neji is going to go get a suntan. Neji tells him he is used it, "Hey, I'm Arabian...remember?" The two boys see another UFO. Neji thinks the aliens want him. Lee tells Kohl this. The Mothman arrives, here to finish Mark, Kohl thinks. From out of the streets, comes the Canadian Shield, a man with a shield, a superhero outfit and mask to cover his secret identity. Kohl says, "What the hell?" This new superhero is downed by a heat ray coming from the eye of the Moth Man. Kohl protects him when he is down. Kohl grabs him and tells the new hero to finish him off before he teleports. The new hero hesitates and the monster teleports. Canadian Shield tells "big guy" Kohl that he doesn't killóóhe is a superhero. Kam calls Kohl and tells them that Mark is gone. Lee tries to calm Neji down. NOTE: Lee looks very grown up and almost Caucasian. Neji tells Lee the aliens want him, that no one is safe, and that the aliens are here for him.

The teacher beats Simon 20 times and Simon won't cry out. Simon cries. In the showers, after more threats from the headmaster or the teacher, the cry boy, Baie, tells Simon he is sorryññhe couldn't warn him. Simon tells him he is getting out of here. Two little boys, twins, have heard what Baie and Simon were saying and want to come along, too. In the showers, is a boy with long black hair, crying. The twins have the loading dock key and candles. The prissy boy blocks their way that night. He wants to go too. They need him to get past Puele. He is Ronaldo's pet and Baie tells Simon they should take him out. The boy tells the twins if they are caught, he will say he kidnapped him. He hates the sadistic pig and shows them his whole upper body, full of scars and cigarette burns. Simon wonders how they don't know he loves a good beating every now and then. Simon trusts him this time but tells the boy if he betrays them, he will never live to enjoy it. The boy will take them to the Smuggler's Cove entrance
