Native boys, some with their shirts on and some with no shirts, hold a parade to welcome the dragon home. One has a sign that reads WELCOME HOME DRAGON. Kohl, in his hero outfit, tells Chu that it sure feels weird to be back. Chu tells him it is a long time since he found the ring. Neji winks at the audience and asks what is goin' on. Kohl tells Chu the less you tell Neji, the better it is. Chu tells Kohl, "But he does not seem like a bad boy." Kohl says, "He's not. Just a pain sometimes." Neji tells Chu that Kohl got Neji away from Prof. Stringfellow, who is a dick head. Chu asks, "A man with the head of a...dick?" Neji tells Chu that the Prof. is a homophobic jerk who hates him for loving his previous nephew. Kohl says the population seems to be thriving. Neji says, "Oh sure, change the subject, why don't you?" Chu tells Kohl, inside, that flying monster reports have come in and children have gone missing of late. Neji goes exploring, bored. Kohl was just a soldier of fortune when he came here and found the ring which changed him into something more. Li Shan comes in, telling Drake she wants to be in his arms. Kohl tells her a lot has happened since those days a long time ago. Kohl tells her he has to be alone with Chu and will call her later. Neji finds this the most boring place on Earth, no TV, movies, playing games, going to the mall...he talks with one bald monk boy. Four other seem to play marbles with rocks. Bald monk boys swim. Neji wonders about boogie boards, wind surfers, hydro boards..."Kohl's monster is starting to look good to me." He agrees to go swimming and asks the boys, some who are in their underwear, where the changing booths are. Li Shan wields a sword. She stabs the little Oriental boy through the back and out his chest, summoning the monster. Kohl never knew Li Shan had such feelings for him. Chu thinks her feelings grew stronger with Kohl gone. The monster grabs a boy's hands and pulls his arms up. The others, bald and long haired, run out. Neji calls for help. Kohl makes his wings appear and flies out. He fights it and it seems the boy the monster held must fall and die! Neji saw it fly out of the temple on the cliff and back strokes into the water in a well crafted bit of artwork. The stream he is in flows into the cliff. Neji back strokes and dives. Neji finds an underwater passage to the temple and finds an altar with a dead kid on it. Neji has a makeshift native knife. Hearing Li Shan order the monster to kill Kohl, who spurned her, he moves at her. She backs out the balcony and falls out the cliff side, screaming. The monster vanishes. Days later, Chu, Kohl, and Neji talk about Li Shan. Kohl says, "If I'd have known..." Chu tells him her love became obsessive, consuming. Neji says, "Hey love. Always a drag." Kohl is glad to have Dragon Island on a settled plain again and wants to relax before going back home again, "That means no video games, Neji."
