R Elflord #6 cover Moonstar is a priest of the crescent moon. Crossing a swamp would cut their journey in half and they had to sleep in the swamp area. A giant snake lizard reptile monster rises out of the swamp to attack Moonstar while several (four) dragon men and Condor, naked again, surround Windblade. Condor puts his hand around Windblade's throat. They take him (past giant mushrooms). Moonstar makes the monster from the nebula return to it. He finds Windblade gone.
CHAPTER 2ñHawk, Purebreeze, and Springstorm, all attired, are on the flagship Shark, a flying airship. The drummer boy gives the signal to cast off. 60 elvish airmen pull at the atmosphere oars as the airship moves toward the grey mountain Condor calls home.
CHAPTER 3ñHuw McBane, chief of the United Sidhe clans is told by Moonstar that Windblade is his and alive. His daughter, Swiftaxe is appalled at the fact that he left Windblade in the forest to die. Hue talks as if he is a Scot. Moonstar insults Hue to get him to help Windblade. Hue thinks Moonstar has guts and laughs. Swiftaxe smiles.

CHAPTER 4ñWindblade is strapped to a cruel device and given a serum that made his insides burn like the Black Nebula. He is in ripped underwear only. The dragon men are called Srith. Metal pointed devices cut Windblade's chest. Condor touches Windblade's chest, telling him he must continue to amuse themññif not, he will die. Purebreeze, Springstorm, and Hawk ride a tiny scout ship toward Condor's stronghold. Condor tells the Srith to take the little worm Windblade to the dungeon and let the rats finish him. Windblade has scars across his belly, chest, and legs as well as his right cheek. Srith put him a dark, damp, slime covered cell. He cannot cry any more. He feels there is nothing left...nothing.
