1 Elflord vol. 2 #15 1/2 cover Color: Falcon floats in the waterways. Black and White: He fights a large eyed tentacled thing. Falcon passes out, dreaming of the time Dove stuck a sword in his side and he fell into the water off a cliff deep beneath ShadowMarket. A cockney speaking large elf man and his dog (Booger) find Falcon. Color: Six hood boys in two canoes are with three Packrats, discussing Falcon's demise. One calls Packrats cowards and the Packrat tells him not too cowardly to slice up one of the Cardinal's soldiers. Someone tells them enough and jumps down to them from a ledge——wearing a cape and with black tights and having a black design on his face—a tattoo maybe, one of the Cardinal's Shades takes charge. The Cardinal wants to make sure Falcon is dead. Blank and White: The large elf drops rocks on their canoes. The tentacle thing eats a hood boy and grabs another, grabbing a Packrat as well. Running, a Packrat and two hood boys, no longer with hoods up, run into a mass of smaller suction cupped things and other insect like, parasite like creatures which take them in. The Shade tells a horrified survivor page to leave the others who fell in. Color: The monster, Festo, had one eye taken out by Falcon. The man came down here as a boy as he tells Falcon. He captures Packrats and takes two in a carry cage as the talk. He blows a horn at a certain spot, leaving the cage of two Packrats. He told Falcon Goolans ate his hat. Gremlins, those little green monsters arrive and take the Packrats, giving the heavy man his food. Their chief is riding the shoulders of a bald monk boy who had a stirrup in his mouth. The man thinks they may use the Packrats as slaves, some are used to dig tunnels, and maybe they eat other Packrats. Grimble leads Falcon back home. The Shade, a Packrat, and two hood boy elves see Falcon and Grimble. Color: Falcon asks Grimble to come with him above but Grimble doesn't want to: too much fighting and crowds. Black and White: Falcon kicks the Shade while the others knock Grimble over. Shade punches Falcon in his stomach but Falcon says, "I'm not finished yet." Shade waits for his elf men to arrive, cutting Falcon's legs out from under him but Falcon comes back and hits him. When the others arrive, the Gremlins have them as riding things. They do the same to the Shade. Grimble is alive. Color: Grimble has to have his wounds looked after and he leads Falcon to the upper tunnel. Grimble tells him if he ever needs it, he has a friend down 'ere fer him.
