2 Elflord vol. 2 #18 cover Bran can find the entrance to the Overlord's domain; he was a packrat for years before Overlord came. Overlord talks with Tigerman (villain of DRAGONRING) on a mirror. Overlord may have to damage the white haired elf that came through the caves as Tigerman saw. The others rest in the remains of a church far below while Bran scouts ahead. The church would have been a rare Druidic church run by Purebreeze's father but the Cardinal saw the old religion as a threat to his religion, the Great Spirit. Four eyed monster men toss a whip around Bran's legs and knock him down. Hawk comes but is bounced to a rock. Turo's well placed arrow into the head of one monster makes the other monsters leave Hawk and Bran alone. Ichi can't or won't tell Overlord the whereabouts of the passage he went through to the place called Earth, once Overlord—Greylone's home. He has given Ichi drugs and put him in a deep sleep on an altar with a pumpkin on a stall—stand. Overlord gets through, making Ichi susceptible to his power. He rips at the boy's barriers. Bran thinks it was Hawk who just saved him, not Turo. Windy tells Bran it is a good thing he is not a little bigger. Bran tells him to sick his turtle on him. Hawk tells Bran to leave the kids alone. Bran tells them, "You boys try to keep up. Hawk needs me." They have set up a tent. Turo is no good with closed in places and finds it hot. Bran finds the entrance but it is too dark. Windy will light the way with his magic, "Follow me." Turo sticks his tongue out at Bran. An olive tunic wearing packrat is told by Overlord that Ichi came through at a young age and can't recall the way. Overlord must rest now but tells the packrat to kill the intruders. The gang find a packrat den. The packrats are sticking Grimble who is hanging upsidedown by his ankles. There appear to be about nine of them, some drinking and getting drunk. Booger is in the sack hanging near Grimble. The packrats prepare to spill his guts but Hawk kicks the door in and fights them. Dao and Bran also fight. McTutt bites the rope that holds Grimble and Grimble gets down. The packrats flee and some fall out the window as he sits on others. Grimble tells them he is Falcon's friend.
