2 Elflord vol. 2 #19 cover Ichi is drained of all his power, an empty husk now that Overlord has what he wants from their power link. He knows where the tunnel to Earth is. Overlord wants to go there but wants to kill the Cardinal first. Overlord tells his packrat catamites to take him to his chambers to rest. Overlord appeared one day in Hawk's past and killed Hawk's father with a bolt of energy, saying that he was free of the future but not knowing what time he was in, he didn't realize Hawk was already four years old. He tried to stop Hawk from being born. Grimble puts the Packrats that tried to kill him down a chute to the blue Gremlins. Grimble calls Windy Windbag by mistake but Bran likes it. The packrats waiting for Overlord to wake up talk. One wishes Overlord would die since he oozes slime all over them. Overlord grabs the one that spoke and starts to open his mouth and feel it. He also hugs the elf packrat close to him, something seems to drip down——blood? Slime? Grimble tells the others that sometimes he hears the screams of lost souls all through the cavern he taking them through. When Windy wants to come with Hawk, Bran tells him this is a job for warriors not little girls. Hawk stops Windy from punching Bran and takes them both by the ear, telling them to save it for Overlord. McTutt warns them about little tiny insectoid, parasites on the roof which fall down. Hawk cannot kill them all. Dao gets Bran to a smaller tunnel but the little things start to eat at Dao's legs as he starts through after Bran. Grimble is glad Hawk, Turo, and Windy made it through another but he can't fit. The things seem to overtake him and most likely kill him and his dog Booger (although we don't see Booger die). He tells them he and Booger will be fine. Grimble is glad his pals got away. Bran cries as Dao tells him he'd rather not look at his own legs...he is dying and tells Bran to leave him. Bran cries that he can't, "I'm gonna stay with you Dao." Hawk, Windy, and Turo find a shaft but no Overlord. Windy asks about Bran and Dao. Bran falls asleep. Dao drags himself away, blood trailing. He gets to an altar and finds Ichi——the white hair's eyes as white as the hair, his purple thong still on. Dao touches the pumpkin stall and is zapped along with the body. Dao falls, his eyes white now. The white haired elf, Ichi, sits up. He looks at the body of Dao. Bran is awakened by this white haired elf and is told the white hair elf is Dao! Dao feels the magic power inside of him! Bran tells him they gotta find Hawk.
