Greenhaven #3 Aircel, 1988, colour.
2 Greenhaven #3 cover Filled with boy elf—guards and former Queen guards, the Cardinal and the Tax Collector fly in a zeppelin. The Queen guards are shirtless, whipped and tortured wretches who are turning the crankshafts. Collector was in hiding when Cardinal took over but now will serve him. Greylone appears to be watching as Dove brings Falcon and Purebreeze, tied up, to the dungeons. Chief jailer Dong, a bearded oaf arrives, telling Dove his name is Dom, not Dong. This is Dom's hobby. He claims to be a warrior. Down here, there is no other ruler, only him, King Dom. He tells them he spends hours each day lifting weights. Falcon tells Purebreeze, "Ask him how many hours he spends in front of a mirror when he's done." Falcon pities Dom. The pair are put in a green water filled cell where a former Queen guard in red (his hands tied behind his back like they) calls to them and finds them a bit drier place. He tells them not many are left. Half of them have been taken for slavery or torture. He shows them the Queen's page boys, their heads under water, their bodies turned upsidedown and their ankles in brackets holding them upsidedown. There are breathing tubes which give them air. The red guard tells them that they know the boys are alive since at night they hear them crying. One guard seems to talk like a British boy. Another sleeps with his head on another's lap. Guards for Cardinal bring Greylone to Dove. Greylone sings a song of DRAGONRING, Monkey ring, Tiger ring, Snake ring. Falcon tells Purebreeze, who has guessed it already, that he loved the Queen a great deal. Greylone is put in the cell with them, his hands not tied up. He rants and raves. Purebreeze thinks he has thrown his voice (Purebreeze calls it a moron who can be in two places at once). It is not him——it is little tiny people on his necklace. Purebreeze bites the string apart and four of them climb off. On a ledge, the tiny people help untie all of them. A guard tells someone to help those poor pages. The four tribe boys jump on Dom's leg. They get the key. Dom hits himself in the crotch. Falcon gets out and they put the idiot Dom in the pit. They go up. An alarm rings out. When Dove answers Dom's alarms, he calls him Dong. Dove runs his sword into Dom's chest and out his back. Dom dies, telling them as they run off, "It..it...it's Dom..." The two page boys tell Greylone, a good wizard they think him to be, that they must get away. Greylone uses an idea he got from Nendo to inflate the page boys into balloons so he can fly them outside to escape. Dove and two others follow Falcon and Purebreeze and two former guards up the tower's exterior. The Cardinal in his zeppelin sees it and orders archers to shoot those idiots off the wall.
