2 Elflord vol. 2 #23 cover Bonnishore: Hawk tells Lief (spelled wrong I guess) that he only thinks the dinner is strange since he can't come. Hawk tells him he will bring him some food. Hawk, Windblade, and Turo will meet the ship by the standing stones down the coast. They want to looks at them in hope that they will lead to the whereabouts of the isle of white haired elves. Hawk tells him they will be fine, calling him a mother hen. Windy doesn't trust Alabaster. Eagle, in open vest with short sleeves and no shirt calls to Lief about casting off and senses Lief is worried about the captain (Hawk). Lief tells Eagle to call the crew out of the taverns: they cast off at next tide. Governor's Banquet: Alabaster thanks the trio, calling Turo Banjo. Windy sneaks food to McTutt, a happy smile on Windy's face. Windblade is grumpy against Alabaster's seemingly phony niceness. Windy and Turo take off their shirts to go to sleep. Turo thinks Windy is all worked up over nothing. Alabaster was just worried over his kidnapped daughter when he said what he did. He is nutty anyway, Turo tells Windy. The pair sleep in the same bed. Alabaster goes downstairs, telling Zoot that the disgusting green thing (McTutt) and the kids are upstairs and Elflord is in the garden. Hawk thinks a storm is coming. Shann is afraid of storms but Hawk tells her, "Not me. I love them!" It doesn't surprise her. Hawk tells her he should go find his room and Windblade. Shann says, "Or you could find my room and something else." Alabaster and Zoot go to his office where they talk to Pirate King Vulture who is prodded by his white haired elf Wraith to ask about the other white hair. Vulture is muscular and black haired. They are an Elfheimbane and a white haired elf like Hawk and Windy. Wraith wears an interesting costume with his nipples showing but having pointed shoulder covers. He has a long white ponytail. Windblade gets up out of bed while Turo's arm hangs off the side. Windblade opens the window and goes out onto the balcony where he finds...Greylone! Windy's eyes turn white and he blasts Greylone who cornered him. Greylone (looking more bald) blasts Windy off the balcony. McTutt bothers and wakes up Turo. Greylone floats over Windy who is on a roof, sitting on the slats, holding onto a steam pipe. Greylone tells Windblade he has true friends now, not betrayers like him. Windblade tells him he never betrayed Greylone——Greylone betrayed himself. Turo looks out the hole and sees Greylone. He also sees Windy fleeing for his life and getting thrown by blasts from Greylone. Windy jumps onto another roof but slides down the slats. Greylone appears over him, telling him he will be a pile of bones n the cobble below by morning. Turo runs across the roofs, picks up McTutt and as the turtle goes into his shell, tosses him into the back of Greylone's head. Greylone falls off the roof. Turo pulls Windy up. Windy thanks him. Turo tells him to thank Mr. McTutt. Alabaster mentions that Windchime's cold sounds bad. Hawk tells Alabaster they will back soon. Shann willcount the days. Vulture watches Hawk, Turo, and Windy leave with McTutt, planning to be where Hawk will be soon.
