| 2 |  | Windy and Turo sleep as Hawk looks over the map. Windy gets up. The Shade assassin is outside. Hawk is tired but feels a foreboding. He wishes Bran, Purebreeze and Falcon were here. He falls asleep remembering his first arrival at Greenhaven and the first time he met Purebreeze. Dom is in a tavern during the flashback and talks to Derryman. A packrat is in a barrel outside. Hawk comes in to enlist in the Royal Guard as Derryman calls Dom Dong. When Hawk calls Dom a little fellow, Dom tells him he is in the army, part of the King's army and has spent years toning his body. Dom tells Hawk to join the brothel. The king likes pretty boys. Hawk tells Dom he seems to know all about that. Derryman is laughing. Purebreeze Bluesky joins Hawk when Dom tells his three soldiers to snuff Hawk out. Hawk tells Purebreeze he needs no help from a female. They knock out the guards, leaving one to run away with Dom clinging to his neck. Hawk, in his elfish face, believes Purebreeze is not bad...for anyone, not just for a girl. She will let the Commander meet Hawk. A lackey (or is Lackey his name?) brings orphans to be used as page boys to Doran. Doran is the king's royal advisor. One of these four is Windblade. Shade tries to smother Windblade with a pillow. Hawk sees this and jumps up but is flipped. Turo wakes up and sees Windblade is not breathing so he gives him mouth to mouth. Hawk yells, "You son of a bitch. You killed him!" The Shade's hands free he knees Hawk and kicks him away. Windy revives. Hawk will take the Shade with him if he has die, too. Windy yells he is alive. Turo encourages Windy to help Hawk and he zaps the Shade into the wall, his eyes white again, then he makes the Shade fall out the window. Hawk hugs Windy and thanks the spirit Windy is alive. Windy appears to be totally naked. Greenhaven: photo of a castle. Falcon, Purebreeze, Bran, a page boy, and guards find no Labyrinth guards. Falcon thinks badly of this track to find an elf they thought dead and abandoned months ago. McTutt is on Windy's head when the foursome remeet Leif, Eagle, and Perrigrin. McTutt welcomes Leif. The Shade is still alive, no bones broken but a figure stands over him and pulls him up by the hair. Greylone who has no hair now. Nendo is with them both! They claim they all want revenge on a certain white haired elf and the pair will use the Shade to get it. INFO: Gremlins and Leprakahns are only two of the different races of putties.
