2 Elflord vol. 2 #29 cover Hawk and Windy are on a log paddling in a thick fog. Windy thinks it is scary as they land on a tiny beach near large stones. Hawk finds footprints. Windy senses an Elfheimbane. Vulture springs out of hiding and hits him. Wraith is on a higher stone and uses his spiraling magic to make Windy inanimate. Turo and McTutt hide in the river and overhear Nendo and Greylone insulting each other as well as going over their plans (yes, again!). Turo is shirtless in his tights (and as usual but more pronounced this time, it is obvious that he has quite an endowment). Bran and Ichi arrive and tell Turo that they are Elfheimbane and Sidhe too. Putting an arm around Turo and touching his chest, Bran tells Turo perhaps he is too dumb to understand it but there can be only one. Hawk and Vulture cross swords, Hawk elbowing him. Vulture is going to enjoy this he says. Hawk says, "A masochist, how kinky." The island has increased Wraith's powers as he turns Windy to face him and then back again. Windy tried to speak to him. Windy falls. Vulture knees Hawk and hits him down. Wraith wants the Pirate King (Vulture) to finish Hawk——he cannot contain himself any longer. As Hawk reaches for his fallen sword, Vulture prepares to stab him, his own sword held high. Bran jumps on his back. Hawk turns, "Bran?" Ichi and Windy stand facing each other, Wraith between them. Wraith begs for them not to do this to him as they hold arms with him in between. Greylone and Nendo see the real McTutt. Turo stands between the two evil ones with a stick, trying to make them pay for what they were plotting to do to Windblade, his friend. Greylone looks at him, "Why it's that dickhead, Turo." Greylone is blasted when Nendo tries to blast Turo. Vulture pulls Bran's thong from behind and punches his stomach, then his face even though Bran says, "You can't me——I'm the king——!" Hawk arrives as Vulture holds a fading Bran. Vulture feels Hawk may kill him for his white hair has been taken from him. The other two white hairs (Windy looking a bit horrified while Ichi looking amused by it all) have driven Wraith mad, not enough thought in his head to think. Hawk will let Vulture get his sword. Vulture feels he is along, unarmed, but is twice as crafty. He tosses Bran right into Hawk's face and runs for his sword. Bran is limp over Hawk's belly, Hawk's sword sitting across his own legs. As Vulture runs at them, his sword held high again, Elflord puts his own sword up in between his legs and it is propelled into Vulture's chest. He falls with a thud near Bran's face. Hawk tells Bran to get off him, pushing his right butt cheek. With Nendo holding Turo, Greylone has mutated even more, "Enough of this foolishness...The Overlord has returned!" McTutt looks frightened.
