1 Elflord vol. 2 #6 cover Falcon helps pull Brolo out of the dwarf tunnel. Falcon is in a checkered top and matching lined pants, lined on one side with black, totally white on the other leg. Windblade, wearing a red tunic and little else, and Hawk (leather shoulder points and blue tights) arrive. Greylone is back and tells them he has power for one last JAUNT (a TOMORROW PEOPLE term). Hawk tells him to teleport them to Greenhaven to warn about the troll attack. He tells Greylone to do it now or die. Greylone asks what is to stop him from taking Windblade and just vanishing. Windy gets between the two and tells them to stop. The castle is now called Evamore: the place Greylone wants Windblade to go to. Fen watches with his third eye. Cloudshadow watches, happy that Greylone is going back to Darkewood. Greenhaven: Hawk in black leather with bare legs, and red cape, black glove on right hand and open fingered glove on the other talks to Windblade, who is in a blue vest and blue fights. Hawk makes Windy smile, forgetting about how the queen hated Windblade. Windy sits on the window sill. Hawk goes to see the Queen and warns him not to fall off the windowsill. Hawk puts on an Eagle designed helmet. Purebreeze in battle armor––or it looks like less armor and more skin, a bony helmet on. Purebreeze jokes about squires being silly, useless creatures. A curly topped blond page boy feeds grapes to the queen, who is almost totally naked in a see through silk night robe. Queen Tiang tells Hawk he is still quite beautiful. Tiang almost strangles her blond page boy when she talks of lust. Hawk thinks they have 3 days to prepare for the attack. The villagers must burn their crops and come into the city walls. Brolo and Purebreeze are ordered to see to this. Hawk and she shall discuss other internal affairs. The two kiss after Brolo and Purebreeze leave, Purebreeze calling Brolo stupid for wondering what internal affairs means. A much older looking Falcon, patch over his left eye, scolds Sparrow, who tells him not to do this thing. Falcon will flog him if Sparrow delays him any longer. Windy reads a scroll. Sparrow goes to Windy and asks him to forgive him. Falcon comes behind Windy and puts a knife to his neck, arresting him in the name of the Queen. On the towers, Hawk thinks he sees Ravenclaw on the cliffs on a horse. Boys from the army are with him. Shadow Market Pub: The Gentleman's Club are out enlisting allies in the upcoming conflict. Carstairs is asking the purple haired girl for her help. Bran told them about her. Binky, drinking, is asking a boy, a boy he calls Billy, if he has ever been out to sea. Knives point at Garth, who is being blamed for cheating at cards. Sparrow goes to Bran in Shadow Market and asks him about his special friends: the Major and the Wizard. Capt. Binky, an elf with elf ears, found The Major and Carstairs off the coast in the fog. They said they were punting up the Thames. Long ago, Bran tells Sparrow, an evil witch called Nendo turned him into a tree in the forest. The Wizard came by and turned him back. Sparrow wants Bran to get his friends to get Windblade out, and implores Bran, touching his shoulders. Far below the city, Nendo says, "It's time!" Three boys with crisscrossed suspenders on their raggy clothes push and pull her. A green thing sits on top one. A blue thing is leading. Nendo calls Cloudshadow. Cloudshadow tells Nendo of Windblade and sends the fat witch her slave who has the magic eye in his head and what the gem eye sees, so will her moonstone and Nendo's gem. Cloudshadow tells Nendo to use the wretched boy as she pleases and then to discard the scum. Fen's shirt is ripped and torn, almost off him. He sits in the dark. Nendo agrees, "Soon Windblade will be in my clutches. HeeHee."
