Elfheim vol. 4 #2 Night Wynd, 1993, b&w.
1 Elfheim vol. 4 #2 cover Dao, Bran, and Hawk watch Leaf sitting crosslegged and having his hands in a prayer position覧he is connected to Windy by magic so Windy can latch onto him and draw them into the same place he is in. Hawk tells Bran to be quiet. Dao is wearing a wild variation of last issues outfit, without the long robe様ike top, this top is more warrior like. His navel is showing between it and the small affair he is wearing to cover his crotch. They get through but it seems Ichi is the one that latched onto them and is now giant sized. Leaf and Hawk are on their stomachs. A giant insectoid spider ant with fangs and a burning back comes at them. Far away, Ichi's body has finally got some clothes on, tights. Little Kibbi is roped up and hanging over hot wax soon enough, ready to be dunked. Windblade is some black skintight suit that has a head cover with only the face exposed and has a ring on top. Kibbi and he try to talk Ichi out of this, telling him they should all get along. Nendo is following Ichi now, swinging Kibbi over the cauldron of hot wax. The more pain or pleasure he causes, the more power they emit for him to steal. Ichi adds that right now he is getting a mix of suffering and pleasure, intense pleasure from Windblade...he is starting to enjoy this, Ichi says and taunts him by asking him if he wants him to get a Srith to rape him. Greylone outside holds his head and calls Ichi lots of names. Suelimiin the Magnificent, a rat faced wizard comes to him on behalf of the Guild of Mages to enlist Greylone. The Guild serves the Dragon Lord and will soon destroy this land. Greylone's head is just a little wound, he tells it. The insect monster is armored and cannot be cut. It shoots web fluid which Dao has to cut Leaf out of. Bran says, "We're doomed, I day, doomed!" Hawk yells, "Ah shut up and fight, Bran, you dork! Stop whining!" A pointy eared skeleton faced man葉hing calls them to follow him. It hops with them following away from the spider monster through a door. They close the door on the web stuff. The thing is an elf living in the dark. Garth saw the Srith wizard leave through a portal with Turo. He went to Kahnstahntinopahl. He seems to be talking to a crystal ball orb. He falls through the portal passing a boy covered completely in wax and lands near Windblade. Meanwhile, in a place where dark boys hang by their hands on the ceiling underground, a huge muscled demon king, Borgamul calls his demonette son Mully. They have pointy tails and ears, fangs, horns, and ear rings. Mully has a nose ring and a spiked collar. The Elfin folk interest Borgamul. They examine one of the hapless souls (an elf boy with a nose ring and no shirt on) sent to them to suffer which changes those sent so. It is all the demonette boy has known. Mully fears that his father has become too fond of the Elfin people.
    Backup story: "Stardusters" part 6.
Backup story first page Tapiet runs for Finn, making Foxfire feel as comfortable as possible. He overhears Finn talking to Kohl Drake (of DRAGONRING, DRAGONFORCE, DRAGONFIRE) about the thing that landed in the ocean that is signalling to outer space. Helicopters are on the way. Tapiet isn't sure it is Silverband but he knows other aliens are here: the Order has a little outpost on Earth but in the Southern Hemisphere but since the warp passed over this area they have been isolated from the QLU. Perhaps it is some warp rider or some crashed ship. Tapiet puts on his chain gear, takes his guns, knife, grenades, arm brace coverings, and his necklace. We see his tattoo is a butterfly like thing. He hopes to find Foxfire still unconscious so that he can sneak in some space medicine without him being the wiser (nice friend!!!) but Foxfire is awake. Fox recalls him looking a little more normal not like some exotic biker brat. Tapiet heals him, calling him a werefox. The medi kit is dangerous but he leaves it with Foxfire at the treehouse, going off on his mission to help Silverband. It comes from a different galaxy. Tapiet says something odd: "Foxfire is really decent. I'd bust my hump to make it back just because I own him." Perhaps he meant "owe" him. Tapiet calls to Silverband and calls to him. Teeth come up over to his legs undersea, "What the frick was that?" Tapiet is a tiny spot on Silverband's nose, blown up for us readers to TAPIET IS HERE. The cocoon maturation has hatched him into a fully adult polymorph末a giant and very giant dolphin form末a form which Silverband thought was cuter than a whale. NASA has been tracking him and the UN has helicopters above. Silverband's gang末lots of them are heading toward Earth, knowing what Earth did to him and "...boy, are they pissed!"
