Elflore #2 Night Wynd, 1992, b&w.
1 Elflore #2 cover Falcon (left eye patched as usual) tells Phlagulos to tell him all so he can rescue Purebreeze. A year before the wizard's statue was frozen by some magic force...it is a living boy holding the skull. Kim and Chi will accompany him. Kim has a left shoulder cover leading strap to a ring above his left hip and one across his upper belly to another ring which leads a strap down his right hip to lower belly and loin cloth. He has his hair up in a tree like fashion and two ear rings. Chi has pig tails and is dressed in similar fashion but with all the straps and shoulder cover on the opposite side (right shoulder covered). Purebreeze tells Koulmak his breath stinks but she is held up by chains on her wrists. This wizard wants her to help him get the other gem so he can call his Master here so he may begin his conquest of Elfheim. Six elf boys, all in thong ropes, gather round. Some have pentagrams drawn on their chests. Chi and Kim lead Falcon into the skull mouth door to the catacombs toward Koulmak. The wizard takes his servants from the surrounding area in return for protection. Chi thinks this is safe thanks to him. Falcon leads them, "Fine. If that's what you believe." Koulmak knows from Purebreeze about another strange elf coming and has the gem on the back of one boy elf while the others hold torches and sit near him. He calls to his master who makes the back of the elf with the gem on his back go on fire! This causes the monster master pain unless the two gems are together. The Master will handle this new thief. Falcon crawls out of the passage to a small stone bridge to another side. Watching him cross, Kim says, "This strange elf has courage it seems. I think I like him." Falcon tells them it is really very easy if they take it slow. Fire rises from below as Kim is on it. He leans down onto the small skinny bridge as the face of a giant monster——the master and its fangs rises up over them and under them! He looks in at Chi and blasts him down into a state where he falls back in pain and starts to become a statue. Kim cries as the Master wonders if he should eat Kim or make him a slave. Kim begs Falcon to come back out to help him. Falcon does, not wanting to die but not wanting to stay back and not do anything to help. Holding a torch, the slave boy with the nipple rings and straps leading to the one around his neck goes into the chamber to find Chi turning into a statue. Chi tells him to get the master. The slave boy runs and drops his torch, leaving Chi in total darkness. Koulmak has Kim holding Falcon's ankles into ropes over a fire. Falcon sweats, "I...I don't like this." The wizard takes Chi off, letting Falcon smoke in peace and when he is done, they will have dinner! Falcon is in tattered loin cloth as is Kim. Two other blonds hang upsidedown by their ankles near Falcon.
