1		Deep in Greenwood Forest, Windy has a cover on his head as Gremlin Puddin and a wizard take him and McTutt into hiding. Puddin thinks Windy is a wimp. Windy is not liking this plan. The wizard feels he can teach Windy a few things. Sitting against a tree, Windy mopes, "this sucks, Mr. McTutt." This wizard, Windy cannot take serious since his name is Merlin. Hawk tells this plan to Turo who runs at him with news that Windy is gone. Hawk tells Turo he is his squire——he stays here. Turo wants to be with Windy. Hawk tells him no and that he misses him too. Hawk leaves to report to his quarters, leaving Turo crying lots of tears. Below, Bran returns to Nicho (spelled different this time) and sees rats on the boy as well as a spider. Naked, Nicho is on his belly on wooden poles, his arms draped down, his butt up and his legs under one, tied up to poles, like laundry. Behind him another bare boy is hanging by his wrists. Bran drools——he came by to help with Nicho's exercise. Bran has a whip with him. Nicho cries but a page comes to call Bran to Hawk's throne room. Bran gets mad and gives the page the whip and tells him to work Nicho over. The page looks startled at first, then thinks about it. He then looks as sadistic as Bran and brandishes the whip like he will like this. Bran was interrupted again. A small elf with long blond hair overhears Bran and carries a satchel. The page boy has his shirt off soon, sweating, beating the whip on Nicho, "Take it like an elf, scum!" The long haired elf comes in and has a present for the page boy——in the satchel is a monster with lots of fangs (not unlike the monsters in CRITTERS and sequels) which he lets out and which eats the page boy. This long hair is Nung——who was going to kill Nicho but Cloudshadow wanted to have Nicho prove himself to her again. She wants Nung and Nicho to kill the Sidhe. Nicho cries. The monster puts his tongue into the page boy's mouth. Nicho hurts all over and will kill Bran. Nung gives him clothes (which Nicho hates) to put on. Turo is in the Greenwood with Kerri, a page boy who has never been out of Greenhaven. Garth comes out and scares Kerri. Garth is paid by Turo to tell him where Windy is. The Gentlemen's Club would have Garth flogged if they knew. Kerri has his arms and hands around Turo's waist and crotch, quivering in fear. Merlin tells a bit about Gwen, Morgan, Nemune. Merlin goes off to brood. He wants to stop the killing and hopes this time he can with the little wizard...the once and future king. In the woods, a spider monster has webbed up three naked elf boys and proceeds to eat them. Kerri and Turo rest at a tree to their backs. Kerri cries, cold and hungry. The pair are lost. The spider comes at them. Turo yells, "Run Kerri!" Kerri can't. Merlin blasts the spider, wondering if they must wake the whole forest. Merlin thinks they are sent by Cloudshadow and puts a mute spell on them to keep them quiet. He then puts a dwindle spell on them to make them shrink. He picks the now naked boy elves up——tiny Turo and Kerri——and puts them into a small bag to take with him back to Windy. Watching him are Nicho and Nung who will follow him back to Windy!

		Foxfire tells Tige he is playing a trick on some of the guys...a fake starstone. There is nothing wrong with the other boys just the crap they are wearing... Tige figures it is like boys are almost in purdah only without the veils. "Like the only way to prove you're macho is being bald and wearing sacks. I believe some clothes designers hate boys." Koogie and two squirrel pals go to Bern Hardcreap's place... the columnist who hates boys. They rip his clothes up on the clothes line. Neji is going to find that treasure with Lee so that when he is rich, Kohl can't touch them. Simon wonders if only they were free of Kohl's control now. Simon wonders what protects the other two brats from Kohl's cruelty. He stomps off to find out. Tapiet is supposed to be resting after a cold. He wants to document this illness. He almost falls off the tree. "What am I saying? I can fly through space and I'm afraid of falling off this branch? But I promised not to use my alien powers. Geeze, now they've got me feeling guilty about being myself! Well, no more!" A few rebellious moments later, he is flying, "This feels sooooo good!!" They agreed not to use powers around Earthlings. All that is missing is a little starlight, a little solar wind, and the refreshing touch of raw space against the skin..." Simon arrives. Tapiet rushes at him, "No! You need to get the dick off our land! NOW!" Simon yells back that it is Dragonforce's land, tears coming out of his eyes behind his glasses, demands to know why Kohl doesn't yell at them or beat them. Tapiet wonders if they have been trying to get him to hurt Foxfire and himself. Simon yells no but they are trying to get Kohl to stop abusing them! Ever since Kohl read Bernie's articles, he changed and today he beat Neji because of the articles. Tapiet tells Simon that Fiddle Wit really belongs to Turk. He tells Simon to tell Tige what Kohl Drake's been doing and Tuck will make Kohl stop. Simon grabs Tapiet around the neck from behind, "Thanks! Oh, thanks!" Tapiet gasps, "ARWK!" Tapiet tells him this doesn't mean they are friends––it just means they both hate sadistic pricks. Simon says whatever he says as long it stops Kohl Drake. A chipmunk and talking squirrel come and tell them that Koogie put himself between the two of them and the net and got caught by insane dog catcher Daywid and Bern Hardcreap. Simon hears them talking. Daywid kills every animal he catches. Even were–folk in animal form. Tapiet will get Foxy and stop those bastards.
