A cat watches a fanged ghoul soldier in a house on a rocky jut. Inside are elf boys with lots of jewels on them. One plays the guitar. From across a rope comes Hawk with a chainmail short cut short. He uses his sword to fight the axe wielding helmeted soldier. The boys watch out a window. Hawk puts his sword into the Ghoul's chest on the right side and then he pulls the sword upward and out. The white haired one calls, "Hawk!!" Windy wakes up, yelling, "Hawk!!" He is wearing more clothes and they are royal clothes. He feel asleep on front of Hawk's horse. Hawk tells him to stay awake, they are almost home. Bran asks if the little royal squire fell asleep to which Windblade tells him, "Oh die off, Bran." They ride the horses faster, this will wake them all up, Hawk says. Dao is on a horse with them.
