s Leather & Lace #2 cover St Mark's Place, NY: Blond Billy is the most normal one sticking out like a sore thumb as Chris tells him. Lots of strange punks and people are around. Chris asks black Chango for info on Stratton. Chango has dark glasses, an island for hair sticking up on his head, shaved on the sides. He tells her he could get iced for talking to her but gives her the name of the Kawa Gang that could help her up on Canal Street. They pass a poster of St. Marks Comics. West 57th StreetóChris's apartment: Pam takes a bubble bath. On the roof is a goofy looking big guy, Big Bob with Thumper and two lizard boys. The boys open the skylight into the apartment and Bob goes down. Chris finds the Kawa gang is all girls. They tell Chris that their chief has the stuff on the creep Stratton at their squat. Billy turns, "I know I'm not gonna like this." One Kawa girl has BOY written on her T shirt under her leather jacket. Kechimbo, the Kawa leader meets with Chris and tells her they lost a lot of sisters to Stratton. The leader tells Chris if they want info, they have to earn it. Soon Billy is in his underwear shorts only serving Chris and the leader Kechimbo who says she has never had a Menage A Trois with a white boy. Billy, stiff, says he is 18 years old. Exhausted later, Billy is glad they stop. Billy holds Chris's leather jacket as she and Kechimbo dance compete on wires above the buildings. They both fall off. Kechimbo gives Chris the file on Stratton...a file labeled "The Moron". She tells Chris she is one of them now. Pam gets into a towel to find Bob who has been spying on her. The Kawa girls are on the roof to fight Thumper and her lizard boys as they watch and name Christine and Billy. Below, Chris kicks Bob between the legs. As he tries to punch her, she flips back and kicks him down and out the window. Billy looks out, "What a mess." They plan to leave with the Kawa girls who have at least one lizard boy tied up with his own pointed tail. Chris smiles. Thumper and one lizard got away. A Kawa touches the chest of the lizard she has, "I'm sure with a little coaxing, we can gain some valuable info." Someone says, "This gets weirder all the time." It certainly does...next issue...
