Esteban tells Gen that no vampire can enter her home unless invited by her. She believes in the sanctity of her home. Hotachi has let his hair down. Three demon like vampires appear at the doorway. Without realizing it, Lee, feeling they are ready (he has pencils to stake the vampires) to take them on, invites them in. Esteban tells Gen to revoke the invitation but Hotachi doesn't want to: he wants to finish it now. Hotachi cuts off a demon vamp's arm, kills a few others, and they run away, flying off into the night. Gen says, "For the record, the invitation is revoked!" Lee will get a vacuum cleaner to clean up the bodies...ashes and a few skulls. Gary, the angel comes in, and explains he is an angel and tells them his name. Esteban tells Hotachi he hates short summer nights. Hotachi suggests he move to Ottawa. Simon, Virgil, and Neji come out of hiding. Two males wonder about Hotachi, if he is looking for some action. One has rent due, the other wants Hotachi to come back any time and calls him a leather hunk. A preacher is calling for those to know angels who stand next to them. Gary explains that will o wisps are faeries, different from himóóhe can lose eternity, not just his petty short violent lifeóólike Hotachi, whom he says knows nothing. Kake is packing the boy merchandise and finds a wallet around one boy's neck. Randolph arrives. Minus allows a blond boy to drink some blood from his finger, "Yeah, baby! Suck!" Randolph takes some blood from the "toy" also. He claims this is not as strong as demon's ichor or phlogiston from angels' veins. The girl sees Hotachi; Kake calls him a dreamy hunk. Randolph tells them that Hotachi has angered Kinski, the so called vampire lord. Gary tries to get Hotachi to martyr himself. Hotachi wants to know if Gary was at Crimea about a century and half ago. Gary was. Martyrdom nourishes other souls to carry on the good fight. Kinski is brought his supper, a boy with short cropped hair, wearing a stringy black one piece with rips on the back and down the sides as well as high up. He plans on drinking Hotachi's blood and feed on his hangersóon.
