The first few pages are a spread of what has been happening, with text to grace it.
Hotachi has been tortured a bit. His bonds are broken so he beats the Nazi behind
him, then floors the others. As he goes to kill the Nazi leader, the leader asks
him, "Please, save my son." Homer, Maire, and Simon enter without resistance.
Homer worries about where Jai got to. Simon says, "This place is sooo creepy."
They find a giant temple face with the face of the vampire lord. Entering the teeth,
they find Randolf, who Homer says looks like shit. The power is corrupting Randolf.
Randolf mesmerizes Maire when she walks under a skull that makes her freeze in power
lights. Randolf hugs her as Simon attacks him. Hotachi arrives but the skull fires
at them. Homer says, "Great horny toads! They're gone!" The vampire lord
returns and tells them Randolf just teleported them using Maire's magic. He wanted
the boy and the girl for a big meal after that little appetizer. Hotachi realizes
that the appetizer was, "Jai!" Homer yells, "No!" Two men, officer
of the law, see two boys (Lee and Neji) wearing long socks and short long jackets,
a new gang one cop labels the Fairies, heading for Yak turf. Lee knew the building
he and Neji are staking out is Yakuza. Uncle 7 of the Tong told him. Two boys, one
with a baseball cap on backward points an automatic gun at the two boys with socks,
"You trespass, Lo Fan, you die!" The police rush in. The two boys jump
up to a ladder on a fire escape as the police and the two new boys fire at each other.
One cop, shot, says, "We got em, JoóJo." All four die (?). The police may
have had bullet proof vests on. The skull makes Randolf, Maire, and Simon appear
inside a building. Lee and Neji jump down from the roof at him. A Yakuza man, big
and Oriental and in a business suit yells, "Blast Samurai's welps!" Randolf
pushes Simon, "I should have liked to make you scream, Jew...but there'll be
another time..!" He and the Yakuza vanish in a blast from the skull, not dead,
just teleported. Maire is also gone. Neji hugs Simon, asking him to do explaining.
The vamp lord talks to Homer and Hotachi, telling them he cannot be killed by them
and not now. The vamp lord says, "I thrust for power!" NOTE: It was a mistake:
it should read, "I thirst for power!" Randolf intrigues the vampire lord.
The vampire tells them that Randolf goes to Japan. He tells them they will meet again
and vanishes. Homer asks what they should do now. Hotachi tells him, "To Japan...for
revenge..." Later, two boys unload Homer's jeep as he returns to Gen's, who
threatens to call Angel and Xiao down to keep him company. Mrs. Wong, Gen's neighbor,
talks to Gen and they go up for some tea. Gen's students are helping her with the
last load. A boy comes who tells Gen since she is new in the neighborhood and his
cousin is alittle short of money, she should pay him. Gen already paid the On Leong
her lucky money. The boy tells her he is Yakuza. Homer makes him leave. GongSi Fong
is upstairs. Gen tells Wong that she rents to Neji but all the boys use it. She tells
the woman that they have a club called Dragonring. Wong says, "I have heard
of this." The boys are horsing around behind the two ladies. Gen just hopes
the boys stay away from Yakuza and that her brother is safe.
