Warp Graphics, May 1997, b&w.
1 Beginning of this story in the Samurai backup story of Warp Elflord #1.
The character bought a bike in Kowloon and explored the coast of Jiulong. At a funeral rite on the beach for a man called Chen Lo, the character sees a girl that he falls for right away. Later thugs try to abduct the girl and the character (Samurai) stops them. He tells her his name is Toshiro Kimura and he will take her home which makes him think, "I am Caine. I will help you." The rich girl is Yehenara. Three thugs enter as he sleeps on the girl's couch. One throws stars at him and hit him in the arm and shoulder. One thug, Kono, gets the girl and another fires a gun at him. He passes out. While out or just waking up, he meets a red colored little boyóentity in a cosmic type of place where he may go one day forever. The entity (which has almost no hair but two pigtails only and a front bang set) tells him the kingdom is fractured and he needs to be a hero and must help the people of Han. He is sent back. The next day he is on Victoria Island to report the kidnapping. A police officer, hearing the British leader tell Toshiro to forget the girl, tells him that many who fled Tieneman Square are here and will be in trouble when China communists get a hold of Hong Kong again. Toshiro takes the ferry to Kowloon and on it, he meets Homer Bently (although Homer is never named). Homer asks the kid for cigarettes but the kid doesn't smoke. Homer mentions the fairy boy and tells Toshiro the boy was right about him, "You are the righteous warrior." Toshiro starts to think and make plans. China has its hooks in him as does the girl.
